RHODES is Greece’s largest largest Dodecanese island. It has beautiful beaches and is steeped in medieval history. You can easily walk  from where your ship is berthed straight into town. There are plenty of tavernas for you to sit and enjoy a meal or a drink or you can explore the castle wall and medieval streets.

TOP TIP - There are boat trips from the harbour round the coast to Lindos having stayed here in the past I can tell you that this is a fabulous little place with great beaches, tavernas, shops and an ancient acropolis on the hill overlooking the town. Lindos can get very hot so be prepared! Your cruise line will usually provide you with this option as a shore excursion. If you visit a taverna then go to Caesar’s. It is situated right at the top of the town at the base of the acropolis. It has great food, fantastic views and a lovely ambience.
